This whole blog began around my chosen profession: librarian. No, I’m not entirely like Rupert Giles or the Pagemaster or any of the clever, clever fictional librarians one encounters. I’m just the girl in the stacks that reads as many books as she shelves, who’s trying to move out of the stacks and into the world, and take all her academic experience with her.
I’ma graduate of SIRLS, the University of Arizona Library Science program, which you may read about. I volunteered at the Bead Museum, and I interned at the Arizona State Archives for the summer of 2009. The scene is set, and the curtain is about to rise…
Act I having finished, Act II will commence, with a new mission for this blog. I’m a graduate with a new job, odd hours, an odd allergy to all things gluten, and a pentient for housekeeping and homemaking. We’re newly married and couldn’t be happier, except of course when we argue over the mess our new apartment is. So as the performers retake the stage and the show goes on, we hit stage 2 of this little blog…
A surprise twist in act two! Take the above formula and add a baby to the mix! Our little man arrived on Friday, August 13th… hopefully this doesn’t portend anything!
